How long have you been with Casbah?

I have been at Casbah for 3 1/2 years now:)

What is your role at the Spa?

I am an Esthetician and Make-Up Artist.

Can you tell us a little bit about the Glymed products?

Glymed Products are great! Glmyed is great for showing fast results for treating problem skin such as acne or sun damage and pigmented skin.

Do you have a favourite Glymed product?

Like many people, I love the AHA Exfoliating Masque. It provides a great "at-home" mini facial when you need a quick pick me up and it leaves the skin feeling rejuvenated, radiant and soft. The Licorice Extract is also a great buy… it's an anti-inflammatory that contains AHA, helping cell turnover. Who couldn't love that?

How would you describe our Vitamin A Power Peel Treatment?

The Vitamin A Peel is great for any skin type for a "pick-me-up", especially getting into this busy holiday season!! The peel sloughs away the dead skin for a great glow and better cell renewal. It also works to calm inflammation in the skin, evening skin texture and helping your skin be able to better absorb all your favourite skin products.

What's your favourite part of the job?

I love making people feel amazing from the moment we meet with a warm hand shake to the moment they leave with a great big smile. My career is amazing… I get to meet a variety of different people, building relationships and friendships.

What is your favourite service at the spa?

If I was coming in to the spa I would totally be coming for the Shellac for the season... not having to worry about the nails drying is perfect for the busy women on the go;)

What is your favourite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?

A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon is a good walk in the woods or mountains surrounded by fresh air and serenity!

What is your role at the Spa?

I work on the front desk and in social media for Casbah.

You get to see all of the new products that come in to the spa... what are some of your favourites?

The Kashware robes/ blankets are amazing. I also love the soap we have in right now (Dam Good Soap) and it's local!

Any gift ideas for the holiday season?

The soap is a great stocking stuffer!

What's your favourite part of the job?

I love when someone comes in having a bad day and leave feeling refreshed and smiling. 

What is your favourite service at the spa?

The signature facial with add on brown sugar scrub. You are transformed head to toe.

What is your favourite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?

Anything with my kids and husband :)

Return of the Chemical Peel

How long have you been with Casbah?

I have been working at Casbah since June 2012. I was on a three week work experience at Casbah through a school program that lead me to receiving an official job here.

What is your role at the Spa?

I am a spa attendant.

What does the Spa Attendant do?

I basically make sure the spa looks presentable when clients walk in, and to ensure they return in the future. I also help out the esthetician's and RMT’s when needed.

What is your favourite service at the spa?

My favourite service at the spa is the pedicures. I haven’t tried all of the treatments yet but I definitely want to try a facial. I only hear great things about them.  

What is your favourite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?

Well since I work every Sunday from 9:30am-7:00pm I can’t really do anything else for the remainder of the night, but if I didn’t work Sundays I would spend them relaxing and catching up on some reading and TV.

How long have you been with Casbah?

I am proud to say I have been a part of the Casbah team for just over 10 years. It's been an honour and privilege to see our spa grow and succeed the way it has.

What is your role at the Spa?

I am a medical esthetician at the spa and enjoy all the variety of my day.

What is IPL?

IPL is short for intense pulsed light. It is a light based therapy used for hair removal, reduction in pigment as well as vascular issues and resurfacing of the skin.

Who are good candidates for it?

It is suitable for almost anyone.

Does it take a while to see results?

Our clients have seen fantastic results in anywhere between one and four treatments. The treatments are comfortable, and so worth the results!

What's your favourite part of the job?

As I've been with Casbah for as long as I have many of my clients are my friends, they are extended family to me. I love that my work can help them feel more beautiful. I am passionate about my role at Casbah, I strive to achieve the very best.

What is your favourite service at the spa?

I have to say my favourite service is facials. I love giving my client my complete focus. Not only do they leave with a glowing complexion but they feel completely and utterly relaxed. With today's fast paced society I love that I can help to just slow things down, help my client to  remember the importance of putting them self first. We can all benifit from that! 

I feel blessed to work with such a great team of girls! I truly believe that Casbah has the best to offer, that's why I am so proud to be a part if this amazing  company.

How long have you been with Casbah?

I've been with Casbah for 1 year. My second Christmas Season with Casbah is just around the corner! The atmosphere at the spa and seeing everyone in preparation for the holiday season and helping clients pick out Christmas gifts is always fun. 

What is your role at the Spa?

I work on the front desk booking appointments and ensuring a relaxing and stress free experience for each and every client from the moment they book their appointment to coming in, enjoying their time with us, and checking out. I also do our St.Tropez full body spray tans as well as Jane Iredale mineral makeup applications, lessons, and touch ups.

What's your favourite part of the job?

My favourite part of the job is being surrounded by awesome co workers and happy clients! I truly enjoy coming to work each day and being surrounded by great people. I consider each and every staff member here a friend of mine and look forward to connecting with all of our guests!

What is your favourite service at the spa?

My favourite service is our Signature Manicure with Shellac polish, parafin treatment, hot stone massage, cuticle care, and a durable polish that wont chip. All for only $45, it doesn't get much better than that!

What is your favourite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?

I like to take my dog out to the field or the beach and then wind down with a giant mug of tea and a movie :)
