Fall Fun!

After a blistering hot summer, fall has finally come to Vancouver. As such, I’ve already got some of my favorite fall activities on tap for this weekend, including pumpkin picking. I don’t particularly love the taste of pumpkin, but I adore the scent, and I always carve a few just in time for Halloween.

With that in mind, the myriad pumpkin services at spas around the country are sounding incredibly enticing to me. One interesting option is available at Casbah, introducing the new Pumpkin Body Wrap ($109, 75 minutes). The treatment begins with a pumpkin enzyme wrap to gently exfoliate dead skin cells and nourish depleted skin. Rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and caffeine, the wrap provides the ultimate in cellulite reduction therapy. Spa-goers are treated to a scalp and neck massage while wrapped to absorb the pumpkin goodness. After a shower, guests sink into a long customized massage using pumpkin body butter with a blend of cocoa, mango, and shea butters to deeply moisturize and smooth the skin.

How are you celebrating the fall season?
